$90,000 ART AUCTION!!
500 guests were treated to an amazing performance to support Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, dedicated to caring for the community's homeless, neglected and abused animals.
Michael has been a supporter of the Peoria Promise for over a decade. He flew to Peoria a month before the gala to do a press conference with Mayor Jim Ardis, lecture at Illinois College, paint with the kids at the Boys & Girls Club, and meet with sponsors. Michael's art auctioned for nearly $50,000 bringing the collective total with past performances for Peoria Promise to almost $200,000.
Michael has a fondness for the Boca West Children's Foundation and delighted attendees on multiple occasions. Each time an over-full agenda only allotted 7-min for painting. Michael's art SOLD; $60,000, $45,000, and $35,000, and when he couldn't give a live performance, he sent a small artwork to support the kids that sold for $8,000!
From exquisite tequila in champagne flutes to remarkable Reynolds wines to the enchanting gardens of the Carriage House Gardens, all the elements for a truly memorable evening were in place. But it was YOU, the people whose energy and generosity filled the tent beyond our imaginations, who made it one for the record books. Together we raised a breath-taking $602,625 for our Jaxson Scholars and their families. As Frederico—Layla and Freddy's father—so eloquently described, Jaxson's legacy is alive and well. From the bottoms of our hearts, THANK YOU!
