In 1983 the Witham Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees recognized the importance of finding additional sources of revenue to ensure that Witham Memorial Hospital could continue to provide excellent healthcare to the community in the face of increased costs and decreased reimbursement. Thus, the Witham Memorial Hospital Foundation (now the Witham Health Services Foundation) was formed for the purpose of meeting the changing healthcare needs of our community be seeking philanthropic support for the development and improvement of Witham Memorial Hospital’s (Witham Health Services’) programs, facilities, technologies and services.
