About 400 attendees sampled 400 different wines at a gala dinner at the Boca Raton Resort & Club’s Mizner Center on Oct. 25. To benefit Broward County’s Kids in Distress and Palm Beach County’s Homesafe, attendees bid $170,000 on wine-related gift items and paintings done live by artist Michael Israel. ($140,000 of the bids were from Michael Israel art!)
